Mushroom Love

This painting is inspired by David Cameron's film Avatar. I loved The environmental message in Avatar and it is one which promotes balance and harmony between humans and nature. As pointed out in the film the tree's and plants is a point of extreme spiritual significance. They react to whoever comes in contact with it, some glowing and twisting changing shapes. I decided to paint a mushroom simply because it is one of the oldest in the plant kingdom. Mushrooms are part of the fungal kingdom, and an important part of our ecosystem. In fact, without them, plants wouldn't be able to survive.
