A commission is a painting made for one person, about something only they carry.

Most people who come to me arrive with a feeling rather than a picture. Someone they have lost, something they have survived, a version of themselves they are becoming. We talk until I understand what the piece needs to hold, and then I paint it.

I take on a small number of commissions each month, so every piece gets the attention it deserves.

Alongside original paintings I also take on book covers, album artwork, digital work and design.
