Held in Light explores one of the deepest connections we experience as human beings, the bond between a mother and child.

It doesn’t matter what kind of relationship we have with our parents; deep down, every human being needs to be held. To feel safe, seen, loved, protected and acknowledged.

The light between the figures represents that invisible connection, the kind of love that can comfort, nurture and remind us that we are not alone.

Held in Light is the second painting from The Light Between Us, a collection exploring the energy that exists within our relationships and the ways human connection can become a source of light.
